The A380 belonging to Singapore Airlines today made its first commercial flight from Singapore to Sydney in 7 hours.
The aircraft will start making scheduled flights from Sunday. It is said that from February, the A380 will offer flights from Singapore to London. The aircraft is said to set new standards for luxury and comfort in air travel.
The A380 is home to 3 classes and seats 471 people. From Sunday, the A380 will fly between Singapore and Sydney daily. Once to Singapore and then back to Sydney and vice versa.
Many airlines have now places orders for new A380′s, with Singapore Airlines making 19 more orders. They are also debating whether or not to ask for a further 6.
