The new Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, looks set to arrive in London Heathrow, making its first appearance in the UK.
Singapore Airlines today announced that the plane will land at Heathrow at 15:05 on March 18th after taking off from Changi Airport in Singapore at 09:00.
At 18:55, the aircraft will depart Heathrow and head back to Singapore, landing there at 15:35 their time. This is set to mark the beginning of the daily route for the aircraft.
The Singapore to London route is very popular and a large aircraft will hopeefully generate more custom. There will be more seats available and a higher frequency into Heathrow; one of the world’s busiest airports.
Bookings for theaircraft can already be made.
