August bank holiday weekend is expected to be one of the busiest weekends of the year. If you are travelling from any UK Airport over the coming weekend, please allow plenty of time to travel to the airport, due to bank holiday traffic and arrive at least two hours prior to departure.
The busiest day is expected to be Friday 27th August, with a mixed weather forecast for most of the UK over the coming weekend, passengers are making the most of the bank holiday weekend by escaping to sunnier climates, with Palma, Malaga and Alicante thought to be the most popular destinations, closely followed by Dalaman and Faro.
