Mearly 12 million Brit’s are planning to go away this bank holiday weekend, however most are planning on staying in England.
29% of people surveyed revealed that they are planning on spending at least one night away from home over the weekend. Many people are planning short breaks around different areas in the UK. Only 22% of people surveyed said that they are going abroad for the August bank holiday.
The number of Brit’s going abroad on this bank holiday has been consistently dropping, however there has been a rapid decline in numbers for this year.
The people that are going away are more than likely going to top European destinations such as Paris and Spain.
