EasyJet may move its base away from London Luton to another airport in the London area accorfing to recent reports.
The airline and the airport are trying to come to a deal on airport charges. If a deal isn’t sorted then easyJet are likely to follow in Ryanair’s footsteps and move their aircraft to other airports to escape the high airport charges.
The airline would be forced to pass on higher airport charges to passengers and this is something that they do not want to do.
