Just after declaring that they are pulling out of Manchester Airport, Ryanair has announced thay they will launch eight new services from Edinburgh Airport this winter.

The airlines will now have 26 seasonal routes, developing links to Barcelona, Brussels, Gdansk, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Memmingen, Oslo and Tenerife.

Nine of the ten services that Ryanair currently provide from Manchester Airport and being stopped later this year.

The new timetable begins on October 30th and from then on, around 2 million people will fly with Ryanair from Edinbugh each year.
