The UK Border Agency have advised us that the PCS union has called a strike from 7am on Monday 8 March until 7am on Wednesday 10 March. The strike will affect UK Border Agency staff within the UK however contingency plans will be put in place to minimise the disruption to passengers.

Passengers arriving into the UK may experience delays at passport control. These can be reduced by having travel documents, including passports, available and taken out of any wallets. Passengers who have registered for Iris or have an e-passport should use the automatic gates as they may provide a quicker option.
