Virgin Holidays are to open a lounge at Gatwick airport designed specifically for people travelling to Florida, Las Vegas or the Caribbean.
There will be three designated areas in the lounge, one for children, one for families and on for adults only. Entry into this room will be £15 per adult and £10 for children aged 2-11. All infants are allowed in for free. The lounge is large and has floor to ceiling windows giving plenty of light and the chance for children to look at the planes.
Hot and cold food and drinks are available and children are kept occupied with a range of games. The room known as the V ROOM will be available from spring next year.
